We are often asked how we ended up in Jávea. The answer to that question takes us back more than four years ago, to 2021 – the time of COVID.
Despite the challenges of that period, it also brought us many insights. It made us realize what truly mattered in life, what we wanted to pass on to our children, and how we wanted to shape our future.
During this time, we embarked on our first journey to Jávea as a family—a trip of over 2,000 km. I still remember the moment we drove into the area as if it were yesterday. A magical feeling washed over us, a sense of calm and energy that we couldn’t quite put our finger on.
On this trip, everything fell into place. We instantly knew—this was a place where we could feel at home. And the longer we stayed, the stronger this feeling became.
The stunning nature, endless hikes with the kids, the charming villages and nearby cities, the breathtaking calas, the perfect mix of young and old, the Spanish vibe, yet with an international character.
This place felt right.
Soon after, we made the decision—this is where we wanted to settle. A bold move with a young family, but one that felt completely natural to us.
In 2022, we purchased our first home, Casa Luna. This house represents our family—a special place where the true essence of Jávea comes to life. A place that feels like home.
From there, our journey continued. Good Mood Villas was born, we emigrated, and we made Jávea our home.
